Josh Kim

Chief Executive Officer / Co-Founder

Josh Kim is an industry expert with more than 20 years of IT business experience. Dr. Kim is a leader and visionary within his field, and plans to grow Nenix into the preferred Web security solution provider for small-to-midsize businesses (SMB).

Dr. Kim has had a prosperous and lengthy international career with such multinational companies as Samsung, Samsung SDS America, and Asea Brown Boveri (ABB). During his tenure with Samsung SDS, Mr. Kim implemented sophisticated IT projects, including Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP) and various portal systems.

At ABB, most famous for implementing the first power deregulation program in the US through the buying and selling of electricity over the Internet, Mr. Kim was an integral part of the sales team that generated more than $22 million in revenue. Mr. Kim holds Bachelor's, Masters, and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering.

Dr. Kim holds a doctorate in Electrical Engineering from Seoul National University.

Steve Hong

Chief Technical Officer / Co-Founder

Steve Hong, founder of Nenix Corporation and a senior development executive with over 15 years experience, is responsible for Nenix’s technical direction and engineering teams. Mr. Hong defines Nenix’s product roadmaps and manages all research and development efforts for current and future products.

Before founding Nenix, Mr. Hong served as the Director of Software Applications at SecuGen, a biometrics security company, and as the Director of Software Development at NitGen Corporation, where he directed key products such as SecuIBAS, Internet authentication software.

Mr. Hong's software development and project management expertise has been focused on developing e-business software, including authentication, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Supply Chain Management (SCM) solutions. Mr. Hong holds degrees in Computer Science, and has authored eight IT-related books.

Doug Ahn

Board Of Director

Dr. Ahn brings to Nenix a wealth of international and managerial start-up experience. His role is to lead the company in providing secure access management solutions to customers worldwide.

As co-founder and CEO of Dialpad Communications, Inc., Dr. Ahn worked in diverse capacities including sales and marketing, business development, and operations. As the Dialpad CEO and President, Dr. Ahn directed the company’s entry into the web-based service market, controlled overall product functionality and specifications, and complied with general market trends.

Prior to Dialpad, Dr. Ahn established Serome Technology USA in San Jose, California. During his time at Serome, Dr. Ahn served as the U.S. General Manager, spearheading Serome Technology’s expansion into the USA from its home market in Korea. Dr. Ahn’s keen analysis of market and technology trends, combined with core corporate assets and a determined team, led to one of the most successful overseas expansions of any Korean venture companies at that time.

Dr. Ahn holds a doctorate in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, an MSEE from Iowa State University, and a BSEE from Seoul National University.
