  SentryAccess Agent

SentryAccess Agents are installed on Web servers, and their purpose is to facilitate user access control according to policies configured after installation. SentryAccess Agents intercept login requests and communicate with the SentryAccess Server to determine if the user has the necessary permission(s) for the resources requested.

  SentryAccess Server

This SentryAccess component provides services and data to the SentryAccess Agent and SentryAccess Manager. It handles the communication between all SentryAccess components and services. Using stored policies, it authenticates and authorizes users. The Server communicates with the user database as login or password change requests are made, and processes/updates specific reports before responding back to the SentryAccess Agent.

  SentryAccess Manager

This component enables administrators to set policies and control other SentryAccess components. If desired, it may be installed as a standalone component, in a domain separate from other components. It consists of a user interface that enables easy control over components across multiple domains, enabling administrators to remotely control SentryAccess.

  SentryAccess SDK (Optional Component)

The SentryAccess SDK is an API tool for developers, and is not required for successful operation of SentryAccess. Using this SDK, SentryAccess Manager may be integrated into an organization’s existing program, or the SentryAccess Authentication API may be integrated into a client-server environment.
