Delivers Improved Performance and Administrative
Functions
with SentryAccess

Nenix
Corporation, the Smart and Secureä
Web access management software provider, today announced
version 3.51.7 of its powerful single sign on and access
management software, SentryAccess.
SentryAccess is a lightweight software application that
manages user access to protected resources through
components residing on Web and application servers.
Requests for protected resources are intercepted by
SentryAccess, and user entitlements are verified. If a
user has permissions for a requested resource, access is
granted. Otherwise, the user is denied, and a failed
access attempt is generated and logged.

CEO, Doug Ahn. “SentryAccess 3.51.7 builds upon the same
capabilities as previous SentryAccess versions, yet it
contains exciting new features and enhancements.”
A
number of performance enhancements and administrative
modifications are included with this version. A new
Session Service has been added, which assures that
system performance remains optimized, even in
deployments with as large as 10,000 active users. There
is a new Tomcat Agent option for Windows deployments, as
well as enhanced Cookie Provider Failover functions,
with easier format configuration. Also new for this
version is a faster installation process, and simplified
uninstallation procedures.
SentryAccess is the only security software product in
its class specifically developed to meet the needs of
small and midsize businesses, yet is scalable enough to
be relevant for large environments. It has a compact
architecture that doesn’t require any bulky middleware,
and it has minimal hardware requirements. Further, it is
highly interoperable with a variety of diverse backend
systems, including Windows, Solaris, and Linux
environments.
