SecuGen
Corporation®
Selects Nenix SentryAccess
for Single Sign On, Security Needs
Santa Clara, CA (May 20,
2003) –
Nenix Corporation, the Smart and Secure Web access
management software provider, today announced that its
flagship product, SentryAccess, has been chosen to
provide secure e-business functions such as Single
Sign-On and access control to leading biometric
solutions provider, SecuGen.
Implementing SentryAccess will enable SecuGen to more
easily capitalize on its extranets to gain efficiencies
and promote developer and partner satisfaction, all
while enhancing SecuGen’s competitive position within
their marketplace. SecuGen will now be able to centrally
manage user access to both its partner (spn.secugen.com)
and developer (sgdn.secugen.com) extranets, instead of
needing to maintain two separate sites, with disparate
information repositories.
SecuGen chose the Nenix solution for a multitude of
reasons. Won Lee, CEO of SecuGen said, “we were looking
for a cost-effective, robust solution that is easy to
deploy and maintain, yet that offers the level of
security and convenience that we deliver with our
biometric devices. Nenix was the only vendor meeting
that criteria.”
“Nenix is delighted to have been selected by SecuGen,”
said Joshua Kim, CEO of Nenix. “It’s rewarding and
rather validating to have a leading provider of
biometric security solutions decide that our solution
best fits their secure e-business needs.”
With
SentryAccess,” said CTO John Kim, “we will be able to
provide a single, secure entry point to our various
applications and documents. This will allow us to
provide requested materials in a much more efficient
manner. And Nenix’s implementation of single sign-on
will provide us with a high degree of administrative
control, yet will appear seamless to our users.“
Industry analyst Gartner, Inc. describes in a May 30,
2003 report that organizations investing in Web services
before year-end 2004 will achieve competitive
advantages, and progress to strategic ROI earlier, as
they develop more robust internal and external Web
services networks than enterprises waiting until after
2004, when ROI figures are more predictable.
